Too good to be used.

I saw someone with a camera around their neck today. Someone else warned them that it was dangerous because it could get stolen. Makes me wonder what things are so valuable that they aren't worth the risk of using. I have always felt if its too valuable to use its not work keeping. I guess its a lesson I learned from my mom who used the nice dishes instead of leaving them in the cupboard.

Its good take care of things. Its good to be wise. But if the fear of loosing things makes them useless then its better to get rid of them. I guess its why you should loan good books when they might not come back. Its why you drive your new car when it could get scratched. It why you wear your nice cloths even when they might get dirty. Its why you loan your tools when they could get broken. And that is why you carry your camera even though it could get stolen, rained on, dropped or lost.
